Talon Holsters was founded by cops who teach for a living. We design our products for the real world. This IWB is a big seller for us and works great. The metal clip allows the holster to be canted slightly to adjust for comfort and retains the holster in the pants. These are the first in a series of holster we are now making with a stay open top. We have all our holsters with a double layer of leather at the top to stay open to assist in single handed reholstering. However, we now put a steel reinforcement in between the leather to hold it open. It works really well. Yes, you can comfortably carry a big gun like the Public Defender.
